Grilled Black Cod

with Miso Marinade

Estimated Prep & Cook Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. Black Cod Fillet
  • ½ c Miso Paste
  • ½ c Soy Sauce
  • ½ c Brown Sugar
  • ¼ c H2O 
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil (optional)
  • Meyer Lemon
  • Radish
  • Green Onion
  • Salt & Pepper

Preparation:

  • Soak cedar plank(s) in water overnight or at least 4 hours before grilling
  • Heat grill to med high
  • Rinse fillets in cold water and pat dry - debone the fish if needed.
  • Salt and pepper fillet
  • In a small bowl, whisk together: brown sugar, soy sauce, miso paste, H2O and meyer lemon juice
  • Marinate fish in miso & brown sugar marinade for one hour
  • Place Marinated fillets on cedar plank(s)
  • Grill, covered for 10-20 minutes
  • Slice Radish and Green Onions
  • Transfer to plate and top with Radish and Green Onions
